Poor customer service. Staff more interested in chatting with each other instead of offering a customer help lifting heavy goods in out of store to thier vehicle.

Bought a Ps5 Controller 1 month ago and its already broken and i have been keeping good care of it and they say they cannot do a refund.... Keep away from here

Argos was made great by Jonny and Gareth. The fact the took that man out of the store for stealing really took my breath away... Shame they took his wheelchair after though... Poor Tony

Staff were very short and snappy. Not at all helpful with the item either... I wasn't asked if I wanted help to carry out the furniture which was heavy nor was it put onto sack trucks. It was just dumped on top of the side for me to struggle out with! I went to the yeovil store earlier on in the day and nothing was too much trouble for them so I'd suggest going there if you want to collect anything you'll get far better service

I wouldnt even give your online service 1 star as thats too much. Tried to make an order for a tv to collect right away and your useless website got far enough through the payment to take the money but not far enough to release a collection code so instead of being sat here watching tv ive now got to wait to days!!! And as for your call centre help desk they were equally as useless saying sorry doesnt cut it how about tryinh to make your cutomer feel lile they havnt been robbed!!!

Don't buy laptops from ARGOS they will not refund if it has been opened, even if it has problem or just changed your mind. They say it is Lenovo's responsibility to authorise refund / exchange. I was very much under the impression the retailer was legally responsible. The manager at Shepton Mallet ARGOS was unhelpful only wanted to pass the buck, horrendous customer support. Their 30 day return policy does not guarantee a refund, or even an exchange. They make you ring the laptop producer to get a fault code. Apparently it takes Argos 2 weeks. It took us 2 hours. Today I took the laptop back with the magic code still refused a refund as the manager was not there. Eventually got an exchange for a different laptop, I paid the difference for the one I had ordered only to realise afterwards that the price i paid today was more than the one on my order 3 days ago. Going back again to be refunded.

My sister went in to buy a fridge freezer at the weekend, we chose one and it said it was available for delivery. So we went up to pay, gave the address and they said it was unavailable. Did this about three times in total. So went back got a selection of 3 to try and the first one was available to deliver on Monday. Bought this one and thought it was all fine, got a message saying to contact Argos as there was an issue. Contacted them and they said there was an issue and it would take almost a month to be delivered. So my sister bought a fridge freezer elsewhere and got it the same day with no issues. Will be getting a refund and not buying from there again. Once or twice is fine to have an issue, everyone makes mistakes. However we spoke to 2 people (one being the manager) and we still had problems. Will not recommend at all.

Bought a washing machine from the store which broke after 2 months ,rang the manufacturer who were hopeless,rang argos whose response was bring it back we will refund you. Excellent customer service ,friendly and helpful staff. A rarity these days .

I agree with your other reviewer. I bought a vacuum cleaner from Argos in Shepton Mallet and spent over £100 in total. When I tried to use the cleaner the same day I found that it would work on hard floors but was impossible to move on carpets and when I took it back the manageress said that I could not return it as I had opened it. I said that if I bought a vacuum cleaner I would have expected it to work on carpets and how could I make sure that it did what I expected unless I opened it. She was very unhelpful and would not take the cleaner back. I have always found Argos very helpful previously and have been a good customer but after this experience I will not be returning to Argos.
