Very good doctors surgery. Reception staff are friendly and quick to respond to questions. Doctors and Nurses also very friendly. For people who dislike doctors surgeries, this is the place to go as all staff are very welcoming!

Had a great experience with these yesterday. I needed two appointments, one for a blood test & one with the GP. Despite a lack of availability the receptionist spoke with the nurse and found one appointment. She then transferred me to the duty GP who saw me straight away! I know this won't happen for everyone, but talk to them - they will try.

Have just phoned up to book an appointment to see a doctor and was told this is not possible and to go into ask my GP. I explained I had spent 20 minutes trying to do this but was told i couldn't book an appointment to see a doctor through the DOCTORS SURGERY RECEPTION. It then took me another half an hour to work I have to go to the surgery web site and not the NHS website to request an appointment. This was not as easy as it is made out to be and certainly not as easy as phoning up and asking someone to book me an appointment.

Really helpful, well informed staff. They rang when there was a change of plan and sorted an alternative strategy. Good medical practice to belong to. I didn't require a doctor's appointment but booked an non-emergency appointment with one of the nurses for a week's time.

Any excuse to get out of seeing anyone, like others have said, doctors literally tend to have 5 days a week off for some reason, ANY excuse to avoid a referral no matter what!!! You could have serious health concerns that need addressing and the closest you'll get to it getting handled is being told we'll wait 6 months, then being asked, are you sure you need to see a doctor? Why else do they exist if not to tend to their patients??? Why become a GP if you're not going to fulfill the duties of a GP?? The receptionists are lovely, wonderful even, and the doctors are personable, but desperately reluctant to get things investigated to the point where I've spent two years waiting on an investigation by a surgeon all the while being told nothing of note, now it turns out I need multiple surgeries!! The doctors need to be reminded of their job description, they're here to help not be dismissive and block your access to necessary medical care!!!

Most unhelpful GP practise in so many ways. I was new to the area and tried this practise. I have had no help from them, never recieved documents I have requested and promised to be sent within 24hrs, been spoken to rudely by doctors, booked onto the wrong appointments. They provide a very impersonal service, whenever you phone they just tell you to go online, but the online service is always offline. The doctors seem to be against making a difference in anyone's lives, they are never 'experts' in any area and can never give 'relevent' advice.

As far as a doctors go it is no more than a call centre now, you can never get an appointment and everything is done via mygp and even then they can take up to 3 days! Doctors seem to only work part time so you never have any consistency with the same doctors. Some of the Doctors are still trying to pass everything off as covid related as they did with my partner even though she knew it wasn't, fortunately went back for a 2nd opinion and was something completely different which will need operating on. The admin side of things is chaotic, we moved 3 years ago but several times we have had to inform them that they have not transfered all names over to the new address. Then only our daughter moved out and she informed the surgery but we were still getting all her Doctor /hospital letters, we then told them to change her address only for them to move us as well. So much for confidentiality, absolute shambles of a place.

In my 20 years of being in the UK, this GP practice has been my worse nightmare to get an appointment. I am almost in my mid forties and havent been invited for the 40 and over health check yet. I am now beginning to experience various changes to my health and when I ring to make an appointment I am referred to use "AskmyGP" which will require internet and computer access, knowledge of using a computer, and if that fails "ring us back to help you". Why cant you help me in the first instance of ringing you?... too lazy to do the tax payers funded job? If "AskmyGP" is the way forward, why pay a receptionist that is of no help to tax payers, with no sense of care and compassion to handle phone calls who then becomes a burden on tax payers finances?. I am fed up of this practice. Sadly, my health check ups depends on them. what a nightmare I have found myself in moving from London to Shepton Mallet. I might as well have a death sentence over me.

I've used the surgery for 2 years and had excellent treatment, always. The medical staff of doctors and nurses couldn't be more considerate and caring, and the reception staff do their best to help with queries, especially in difficult times like the pandemic. I've been to several sugeries in the last fifty years and this is one of the best. I'd recommend them to anyone who is wondering which surgery to attend. I really like the Ask My GP addition, because it makes it so much easier to talk to a GP without having to attend in person.
