I did my research when looking to have my wood burning stove installed and based on their excellent reviews, decided to contact Focal Flames. Steve replied promptly, answering all of my queries and provided me with a competitive quote. On the agreed date, Steve arrived and immediately set to work.It wasn’t the most straightforward of jobs, even the weather was against them but Steve and his workmate Ollie worked hard to get the flue installed. The flue upstairs was neatly boxed in, boarded and then plastered to a fantastic finish. From start to finish the guys were extremely respectful of the house, leaving everything clean and tidy at the end of days. Since installation I’ve had several fires, which has transformed my once freezing house!! I cannot say how pleased I am with the end result. The stove looks and works beautifully!! Great clear communication from start to finish, the team turned up on time, covered everything for protection, removed my old liner, installed a new one, new closure plate, new small pot and new bird cage outside alongside a new log burner inside my property. They were friendly, efficient, clean, incredibly knowledgeable and took all the old away, all completed within half a day with absolutely no inconvenience whatsoever. Highly recommended on all fronts.

This was a gold standard experience from start to finish. Great initial communication, Steve and the team were prompt and courteous. The quality of work was excellent and they went above and beyond even clearing our gutters while on the roof! They left everything clean and tidy and the initial estimate was the final price. I’m always busy so got in contact with Steve via Whatsapp as messaging is just easier for me. A very transparent and reasonable quote was quickly arranged and an appointment booked. The wait was about 6 weeks or so which was absolutely fine. The installation was quick and clean and we couldnt be more pleased with the result. Just excited to get the first lighting done. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Focalflames Fireplaces and when we move we will use them again in a flash.

Steve from Focal Flames was highly recommended from our chimney sweep who had seen his work in many of his customers houses. Steve recommended the Ottawa eco 5 and installed it along with a chimney liner, chimney pot, bird gaurd and carbon monoxide detector. Steve did a complete professional job and comes highly recommended 👌
