Christy and Robert were really friendly and responsive to deal with, and even picked me up and dropped me back at the train station. I felt like I was buying a car I could trust from a genuine small business and this took a lot of stress out of the process. Highly recommend!

In our experience, we were able to buy a reasonably priced used car with a good history. The car was well-presented, serviced and additional requests were taken care of prior to collection. Bought a VW UP! from Ridgeway Garage a few weeks ago. Went and viewed the car after work on a Friday and took it for a test drive. Owners were very friendly and knowledgeable about the car and it's history. The car initially wouldn't start when I went to collect later in the evening but they were insistent on replacing the battery and I picked it up the Saturday afternoon. Little things like this are examples of excellent customer service. I've only heard good reviews about this garage from local friends and my experience definitely matched that. Christy and Rob are honest, down to earth and straight forward! Yes! I have found a car dealer that I can trust and feel very happy to recommend. We have just bought a first car for our son and were handled brilliantly throughout. Rob initially contacted me, with a car that had arrived on their forecourt that he thought would be ideal. The transaction was done click and collect style because of coronavirus restrictions and in a very covid secure manner. I was also impressed with the way we were kept updated and looked after, when a fault appeared in the car, before we had come to pick it up. I found both Christy and Rob to be open, transparent and honest with me in dealing with this problem, it is obvious to me that they run their business with integrity and it is truly refreshing to experience that, especially in the car trade. I have bought quite a few second-hand cars in my time and can absolutely say this was the best, most honest and transparent experience. Due to the hiccup, we lost a month's worth of road tax and off his own back, Rob presented us the car with half a tank of petrol, to more than make up for it. We are very lucky to have this business, locally in Shepton Mallet, I would say that it's definitely worth coming from further afield too because if there's one quality you need in a car sales person, it's honesty. Honesty and integrity, are worth travelling for.
